Last week, Waterspirit’s Public Policy & Justice Organizer, Rachel Dawn Davis—who is also a certified Green Infrastructure Champion—presented on the topic of water conservation to Monmouth County Master Gardeners.
The crowd was lively with enthusiasm for the tips she shared, such as rainwater harvesting, drip irrigation, mulching, and smart metering.

We urge all Waterspirit community members to submit a comment to tell the Environmental Protection Agency they must include microplastics on the Sixth Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR 6).
Droves and droves of comments are required at this juncture to urge transparency about the microplastics we know are everywhere.
Our bodies and sacred Earth are not separate; the health of our soil, air and water all directly mirror the vitality of our watersheds. Industrial neglect may have left a legacy of toxins but tresting is the next truth seeking we may do. Here we list resources for testing. Please reach out if you have any questions.

City of Water Day came to Monmouth County for the first time!
