Keansburg, NJ – Forty people joined in at Keansburg Baywalk West on Saturday for the first ever City of Water Day event in Monmouth County, hosted by Waterspirit, Save Coastal Wildlife, Clean Ocean Action, and the Northern Monmouth Watershed Alliance. The event promoted ways that local waterways can stand up to climate change.

Waterspirit joined over a dozen organizational partners detailing opposition to this bill that would provide no real rate relief for NJ ratepayers and lacks a fiscal note describing cost impacts for residents and the state. Call Governor Sherrill and urge that she veto this bill should it come across her desk. (609-292-6000)
