Waterspirit T-Shirt Design Contest Rules & Guidelines
Thank you for supporting Waterspirit! We are excited to see your creativity and celebrate our community through this special t-shirt design contest. Please review the rules below before submitting your design.
Design Guidelines
· Original Work Only: All designs must be your own. No copyrighted logos, characters, or images (unless you created them). No AI artwork.
· Theme: Designs should reflect our mission of protecting water. They should appeal to people from any faith tradition.
· Content Standards: Keep it positive—no offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language or imagery.
· Format: Submit designs as a high-resolution digital file (PNG or JPEG, 300 dpi preferred). Keep in mind the design will be printed on a shirt.
Participation Rules
· Who Can Enter: Open to everyone.
· Number of Entries: Each person may submit up to two designs.
· Deadline: All submissions must be received by September 30, 2025. Late entries cannot be considered.
Judging & Selection
· Criteria: Creativity (30%), relevance to theme (30%), wearability/marketability (20%), and overall impact (20%).
· Process: Designs will be reviewed by Waterspirit’s Development Committee.
· Winner: Announced in late October via Waterspirit’s website, social media, and weekly e-mails.
Rights & Usage
· You created the design and own the rights to it.
· You grant Waterspirit permission to use your design on T-shirts, promotional materials, and social media.
· Proceeds from shirt sales will benefit Waterspirit.
· Credit for the winning design will be included on promotional materials.
Prizes
· All entrants will receive a free ticket to an upcoming Waterspirit event.
· Winner will receive a Waterspirit gear kit (water bottle, tote bag, and t-shirt with your design on it.)
· The winning design will be printed and sold as part of our fundraiser.
How to Submit
· Send your design to water@waterspirit.org by September 30, 2025.
· Please include your name, age (if under 18), and contact information.
