Environmental Justice in New Jersey: Join Us Virtually 10/8/25 at 10:30AM

Since June of this year, our Public Policy & Justice Organizer has been serving on the Environmental Justice Advisory Council (EJAC), a part of the NJ Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) office of Environmental Justice.* In her role, she is gathering knowledge, resources and participating in convenings with this council to advance peace through justice.

We encourage you to join the first public facing New Jersey Environmental Justice Advisory Council (NJEJAC) meeting which is taking place virtually on Wednesday October 8, 2025 from 10:30AM to 12:00PM.

What will this office and its goals look like in the next Governor’s administration? Do you have questions, concerns, and/or ideas? Do you have questions about an existing permit application? A polluting project slated for your NJDEP designated overburdened area? Are you wondering what the EJ law has done since it has been enacted and implemented? JOIN US!

Please spread the word about this opportunity!
