Foraging, the ancient practice of gathering wild plants for sustenance and medicine, has been a part of human life for thousands of years. Join experienced naturalist Anne Price as she guides us through the Plainsboro Preserve in search of wild edibles. Participants will learn how to safely identify plants we can enjoy as well as plants we should avoid. We will sample as we explore and also collect some foods to prepare together. Foraging is more than just gathering food. It is a way to establish a deeper connection with the natural world. When we forage, we become more attuned to the cycles of nature and establish a deeper appreciation of this world. Ages 18+ $20 per person.
