Waterspirit is partnering with the Ironbound Community Corporation to help prevent flooding in Newark!

Together, we'll remove litter, clear around storm drains, and care for the place we all call home! Help keep South Street clean, reduce neighborhood flooding, and build a stronger, healthier Ironbound.

Waterspirit registrants can meet in Newark at South and Pacific Streets. This event will start at 10 am. Wear long pants and closed toe shoes. Ironbound Community Corporation will provide the cleaning tools, gloves, etc.

For registrants who wish to use public transportation, there is direct bus service from Newark’s Penn Station to the gathering site at 10 am. Watch Francis Nuñez, Director of Advocacy and Organizing for Ironbound Community Corporation explain the benefits of this event.
