The New Jersey Legislature approved a bill that would allow Chemours, and their tenant DuPont, to avoid critical regulations within the Hazardous Waste Facilities Siting Act.

If this bill is enacted, it would green light one of the largest hazardous waste facilities in New Jersey history to begin accepting and discharging toxic chemicals from all over the country, including wastewater from fracking.

Governor Murphy must protect New Jersey's water, public health and environment by voting against this ill-conceived corporate exemption.
