 | Suzanne Golas, csjp, the founding mother of WATERSPIRIT in 1998, continues to serve as the director. Her background includes efforts in education, peace and justice work, and church renewal. She has served in leadership positions in the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace, an international, Catholic religious order comitted to peace through justice. Suzanne also serves as the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace's non-governmental organization (NGO) representative at the United Nations where she concentrates on sustainable development and environmental issues, specifically water. Suzanne participated in the Earth Literacy program at Genesis Farm, Blairstown, New Jersey. |
 | Joan Carey, ssj, is Assistant Director of WATERSPIRIT. Joan is a Sister of St. Joseph of Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia. She is a board member of Change for Global Change, a not-for-profit organization that provides grants to people in economically poor areas for funding sustainable projects such as water wells in developing countries. She is also an elected member of the board of NETWORK, a national Catholic justice lobby. Her background is in education and in law. She has taught elementary, secondary, and graduate levels and as a licensed attorney has practiced poverty law. For the last several years, she has focused on eco-spirituality and joined WATERSPIRIT staff in 2005. |
 | Kathy Coyle Viscito, has been a WATERSPIRIT team member since 2004. She brings a marketing and fundraising background. Kathy is responsible for the organizational efforts of our office, including finances and marketing. She lives in Interlaken with her husband and two children.

 | Jean-Marie Donohue, the most recent addition to the staff, comes to WATERSPIRIT after volunteering with WATERSPIRIT for almost a year. Jean-Marie has worked as a Municipal Clerk for the Borough of Shrewsbury where she was an administrative official for the town. She brings a background in administration and communication. Jean-Marie and Kathy work closely together on the many office and administrative details of WATERSPIRIT. Jean-Marie lives in Monmouth Beach on the banks of the Shrewsbury River with her two children. |
